Of Roses

Blending smoothly
with every hue and shade
and every savor and scent
that you adorn me with

exquisite, splendid
flourishing and pristine
like the very advent of
fresh flawless spring

I bloom like a lasting rose
in a boundless yard of love
embraced gently
in your tender sepaline arms.

    1. Aahh….here you are! I have just been waiting to hear from you, dearest D. How have you been? Not as upbeat as you usually are I know, but I hope you’re over the darkest phase now. I am glad you decided to take some time off from the forum, sometimes it just helps to be by oneself.

Your love for my words is like a blessing, D. And you too should know how much I adore your words. πŸ€—

I am a lil better and still reading you as always dearest.
        Thank you for your love.😊

    1. Dear Gheeneil, this is such a poetic comment and I truly appreciate every single word of praise you have showered on this poem. Thanks so much, it means a lot to me. Let me also apologise for such a late response to your comment, essentially due to my prolonged absence from the forum. There’s a new post I have shared just today and I hope you would find some time to go through it. 😊

You’re a fantastic writer and I absolutely adore your writings, whatever little I have read as yet. Look forward to reading more from you. πŸ€—
