Threads of Hope

Amidst the coarse yarn of
extreme despondency
tangled incoherently
around the strands of life
I have still saved some
silken threads of hope
bundled in a patch of faith
to weave my breaths again
when in shreds
due to lashes of time.

  1. And those same silk threads,
    Comes into existence,
    By a thousand deaths,
    Thought for an instance?
    It’s better to die
Than keep hope by thousand deaths,
    Love is hard to defy,
    Along with hope it frets.

Lovely poem Chhaya… Keep putting smile on our faces… May lord give you all you deserve… 😊😊

    1. Thanks so much Tanay ! I am so glad you liked it. And thanks for your kind wishes, and I wish and pray the same for you.

What you have written totally represents your state of mind right now, Tanay. But I am sure you would get through this, and be back to your smiling and hopeful self soon. Life is beautiful, just try change your lenses ! πŸ˜€

How would the poor readers even realise that you didn’t mean what you wrote when you give such hopeless responses to their comments… “zinda reh k bhi kya karna hai” types ! 😝
